Wrongcards.com is a free e card website where you can find a selection of funny e cards that are brimming with simmering irreverence for all occasions. The artist behind Wrongcards says that a refusal to court mainstream appeal is what has made the cards so popular. He proudly claims that Wrongcards are different from the typical snarky and sarcastic e cards in that they are designed to be funny in more of a wrong and sociopathic kind of way.
The popular men's website Askmen.com has called the cards "manly greetings", and the site Thrillist raved about their bent tone. The company that began as an independent art experiment has transformed into a startup this year, and they are now selling postcard boxes on Amazon.com as well as all the free online ecards available on their site.

Pre-designed ecards are popular and convenient, and easy to select and send. However, if you want to send a more personal message by designing your own ecard, it will take a lot more planning, creativity, and technical expertise. The first tip for making your own ecard is to plan it out in advance so you will end up with a quality card on time. You'll want t o write the copy for your intended card theme in a storyboard format.
This should include the actual words that will appear on the ecard and the supporting visual concepts to be animated in each frame. Once you've settled on the words and graphics, you can also add sound to your ecard by using your computer's sound recorder. Embed the mp3 audio file into the Flash editor and create a .swf file. Upload this file to your web servers, and the music , visual and copy should all blend together to create a lively ecard.
